The HAAF name has always stood for jumbo freight forwarding and Europe-wide transports in the LTL and FTL segments. Against this background, you can fall back on a number of individualized jumbo solutions today for your procurement, distribution, or spare parts logistics. Including our craneable intermodal offerings on the European North-South axis, and our new Eco-Liner solution.
Our fleet is telematics-equipped, which allows uninterrupted linking to our central dispatch office. Your freight forwarding orders can be directly entered into our dispatch software via interfaces in our system environment, to be ultimately transmitted to our jumbo units.
Together with you, we are striving to further increase the automation rate throughout the order processing workflow – from acquisition to invoicing. At the same time, transport tracking is possible in near-real-time thanks to our telematics systems. Intelligent communication systems enable us to provide you with information on your shipment at any time, at the push of a button.
By using comprehensive cargo securing precautions – such as straps, edge protectors, pallet stops, or anti-slip mats, we are also ensuring that your transport goods are safe and secure in transit. Our own shop and cleaning line help make sure that our fleet is always at the ready. In addition, our filling station at the Group's offices in Römerberg is open for the market.
Our fleet today comprises more than 130 owned jumbo tractor units both with and without truck-mounted forklifts. These vehicles have been selected and their number is being continuously expanded taking into account ecological considerations. In addition, we dispatch up to 75 partner vehicle units daily.
In our fleet, we use standardized vehicle dimensions: 7.7m x 7.7m, with an interior width of 2.50m, interior height of 3.00m - whether with fixed bodies or interchangeable systems. By equipping our vehicles with lifting roofs and curtain sides we are able to optimize the utilization of the 120m³ of cargo volume, as well as allowing loading and unloading by cranes.
We already have a large pool of swap bodies that meet with great interest as mobile storage; e.g., on construction sites.

We see ourselves as a competent transport partner for our customers - be it for national or Europe-wide LTL (less than truckloads) and FTL (full truckloads). Designed for your individual needs, we will find the ideal transport solution – allowing our customers to focus on their core competencies.
When processing transports, we rely on a technically advanced, networked and flexible fleet of small vehicles, 7.5 –12 metric ton-vehicles, as well as tautliner. Using a modern digital fleet management system, we monitor our vehicles 24/7, around the clock, with GPS.
Due to our strengths developed in working for the chemical and packaging industries, our portfolio of services goes far beyond traditional transport handling. From deploying vehicles with ADR equipment, unloading via lift-gate deliveries, to using refrigerated vehicles – we will develop solutions, with and for you.
Eco-Liners, vehicle combinations with a total length of up to 25.25m have been successfully used in Scandinavian countries since 1970 already. After this type of vehicle was also approved for use in the EU more than ten years ago, and after it had proven itself during the testing phase, these vehicles have been in regular operation since 01.01.2017.
As for the technical equipment, we rely on a combination of a Jumbo tractor and a Mega-trailer. Depending on a customer's individual needs, we have an additional load volume of about 40% (when compared to a jumbo trailer). Due to the reduction of transport traffic, we are thus able to reduce emissions by 30%, ensuring sustainable transportation. These vehicles may only be used on specific, well-defined routes in Germany. For one customer, we are using an Eco-Liner as a shuttle between Hassloch and Hockenheim, as well as Hassloch and Kandel.
